Where I’m from there’s a bad spout of the flu going around, and it’s just my luck that this is the first time that I’ve been sick in a couple of years. It set in slowly I even went ahead and went to school the first day that I started to feel sick. The second day I wasn’t feeling well I went to school but I couldn’t stay focused and every single bright light or loud sound caused a major migraine. The third day which was a Friday I stayed home and was sick all day. Getting sick like this is just my luck, I was supposed to work on Saturday and celebrate a friend’s birthday on super bowl Sunday. Staying home with my family caused me to spread the flu to my dad and then my little sis, but the ironic thing is I was able to get to the doctor’s office and get the antibiotics to clear the symptoms up. Sunday night through Monday morning we got yet another snow storm. We’ve been trapped inside because of road conditions for the past three days. My mom and I are the only ones that aren’t showing symptoms but she is just starting to feel tired and she’s being really irritable. Every ten minutes my dad keeps asking me if I am done with my homework yet. The answer of course is no since I am still working on this stupid blog post. I wouldn’t even be doing this if I didn’t have to, but I have to so I just need to suck it up and get this assignment done. The only good thing about this spout of the family flu is that my poppa, who lives next door, hasn’t gotten sick yet. You can tell that I’ve been inside for way too long when I start watching TV and I’ve been forced to watch a pretty little liars marathon all day long.
